Menstrual periods are inescapable if you’re a female (unless something is terribly wrong, in which case go to a doctor). Kidney stones and an enlarged prostate are both things that can be avoided with healthy living.
So can menses be avoided with birth control pills or getting pregnant.
Also, screw you, for blaming the victim.
Also, pain is never an excuse to be a biotch.
First off, LOL this was funny. Second, the pill doesnt always stop your period. In some cases, it makes you later than usual, and even have a worse period then before. Sometimes it also makes you spot, so you’re basiclly just on your period all the time.
Also, not all men have an enlarged prostate and kidney stones. However, most women have regular periods from arround age 10 to age 50 and even sometimes 60 years old. I’ve gotten mine twice a month since I was 10, and it isn’t any fun at all. Not only does it hurt, but its gross and expensive.
That doesn’t mean women should be b**ches, but when you have headaches and stomach cramps for half a week, every month for most of your life, things get on your nerves a lot more.
Of course, men also have their own problems, but as men, it’s also true that they don’t understand what women have to go through.
Bullshiit – healthy living won’t help prostate cancer or an enlarged prostate.
Kidney stones can be caused by taking too much calcium – that’s sold as health food shops, isn’t it??
Moron..
Oh, yes they are escapable – go on the pill!
Basically anything females do is great, fine, dandy and all above board; anything men do is automatically wrong and inexcusable.
Side note, yes you can go on the pill but you still have to have a week off it every month so you still have “withdrawal bleeds” which can still be pretty painful, especially if you go for more than a month without taking your break
As another side note, going on the pill changes a women’s preferred pheromones in men. Normally she will be attracted to those farthest from her own, but once her body has been tricked into thinking it’s pregnant (that’s what “the pill” does), she will seek out pheromones closest to her own.
This developed from pregnant women being more secure around male family members than male lovers.
TLDR; I’m sick of men thinking birth control is a miracle drug. “The pill” causes increased cheating in relationships and incest.
Jk.
But seriously… kinda does.
Uh oh, someone tried to invalidate the monthly vacation from courtesy and rationality a loud, vocal minority of women thoroughly abuse.
Incidentally, here’s a fundamental aspect of manners that said vocal minority forgets: It’s very rude and very childish to take out your bad mood and physical pain on people who didn’t cause it. Don’t make your problem someone else’s.
Anyone old enough to have a period is old enough to know that.
You know why you guys make such a big deal about having it harder than women? Because in your eyes we’re supposed to not understand hardships, we’re supposed to be soft and weak and spoilt, you really need to be play the poor, hard-working guy with puppy dog eyes who’s wife is horrible to him.
Any man who lives six months as a woman would choose the occasional kidney stone over menstruating. I’ve had both.
Enlarged prostate though… I dunno if that’s like an ovarian cyst but there is definitely a female equivalent! Does it really have to be a competition? Kinda rude of the dad and bro to butt-in and interrupt what was clearly lady venting time behind closed doors.
Wow, they’re two completely different things. When we complain about our periods it’s because they really do make you feel bad a lot of the time – we’re not comparing it to cancer or kidney stones. If this is the way you feel you can NEVER complain about being hungry because there are kids in Africa who eat a bowl of rice once a day (if that) so there is no way you can possibly complain about something that is currently annoying you or making you uncomfortable because there are people in completely different situations who have it worse!!11! That is essentially what this guy is saying.
All of these comments are proof of the real intense hatred each gender have for one another..regardless, it’s sad that you’re all trying to outdo eachother on who has the most pain or hardships, how about you just be happy with eachother and spend 5mins not bitching about the other.
Periods are entirely dependent on the woman and the month. I’ve had times I’ve just laid on the floor of the bathroom for hours because it felt like someone was trying to rip out my uterus. Other times, I don’t have any physical symptoms whatsoever.
Consider yourself lucky it isn’t bad for you, but don’t judge others.
My real judgement is the whole whining at everyone else because of “hormones” crap. I don’t care how moody you get, yelling at someone for no reason is just immature and makes us all look bad.
SHE CUT OFF HIS HEAD?!
So . . . they decapitated him and left his head on the couch?
Yet again the man is wrong.

It’s not the pain that we cite as an excuse, it’s the weird hormones we get just before that make us evil

So pain is invalid for men. Got it.

Big whoop… women have to deal with periods.
Men have to deal with women who have periods.
You’re not even on our level.
Go bleed for 7 days straight while having migraines, cramps, and other painful symptoms. Shut up, you have no idea how much it hurts.
lulz

I have kidney stones and I’m on my period… FML.

I am a female. I have periods. Shut up girls. Really…grow up. It’s really not that bad…

My husband suffers from Arthritis. I don’t complain about any pain I am in, seeing him hurting so much.
