  1. Benji says:

This is a HORRIBLE PICTURE! I can’t believe y’all let this one through!

  2. Mike says:

It is good to see his finger is not on the trigger, some parents don’t teach their kids proper firearm handling until they are four or five.

  3. SnookieThunders says:

He came into town lookin’ for the varmint that done shot his paw….
(Okay, I can’t do Westerns. Or funny.)

  4. Rebecca says:

use some common sense for Pete’s sake! This is NOT appropriate for FaceBook or any place else where children might see it and get the false opinion that it is ok to carry a gun or even handle one w/o proper supervision.

    • Derek says:

Rebecca, if one picture is enough to sway the child then the parents aren’t doing their job of teaching the children proper gun safety.
      1) STOP!
      2) Don’t Touch
      3) Leave the room
      4) Tell an adult.

Of course, my 6 year old knows the other set:
      1) Treat all guns as if they are loaded
      2) Keep your finger of the trigger until you are ready to shoot.
      3) Know your target and what’s behind it
      4) Never point a gun at anything you aren’t willing to destroy

    • Beth says:

Lighten up! Kids are way smarter that that. This is so obviously shopped, its rediculous. I have pictures of my employers three year old son reading a playboy that we put together just because the ex in-laws took offence to him having the kids for two weeks straight. the ex wife framed them and put them up in her office.

    • Marilyn says:

With all due respect, you have to be kidding. The PICTURE is what concerns you? First of all, kids are not supposed to be on FB. I did not allow my daughter to use the computer alone until she was about 8 and she was only allowed in AOL kid rooms (our provider at the time). We shared an account and I checked frequently to make sure she was not contacted by strangers. I knew exactly what and where she was seeing. She is a teen now and she still tells what she visits, even when I don’t ask. As far as weapons are concerned – kids can’t buy them, so the only way they could get their hands on one is from their parents or someone else’s. If I was unsure, I would ask if other parents had them.
Do you see a pattern here? The world would be a whole lot safer if parents actually did their jobs. We could actually HAVE humor around us!

    • Alex says:

My apologies, I now know it’s not ok to carry or handle a gun, but I see setting cars on fire and murder are still acceptable.

    • b says:

There is supervision, who do you think took the picture?

  5. 3rik says:

I call Photoshop! No way this is real…

  6. GammaPaladin says:

When I was a kid we all played with realistic looking gun replicas as toys. All my friends are still alive. Get over it.

  7. Mary says:

    This is sick!

  8. Pamela says:

    * from Jason Stathoms baby album

  9. down2earth says:

Get over it people! I grew up with guns real and toys. So did everyone in our family. We turned out to be cops, doctors, and teachers. Not one of us has ever killed or gotten arrested. Cowboys and Indians, cops and robbers. Funny how none of turned out to be murders and gangbangers. Maybe it’s called values and morals. I started shooting when I was 6 and I have never shot a person or any living creature!

  10. b says:

This pic is just funny, nothing else. For anybody, who is conserned: http://www.ronanlyons.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/helen-lovejoy.jpg

  11. Brit in Britain says:

This is a piece of awesome! Top shoppage!

  12. branch says:

    Is this kid Breaking Bad?

  13. TooRite says:

‘Shopped and very amusing. The kind of kid paedos should meet…

  14. SideshowBoob says:

It is unbelievable that some idiots would be shocked at seeing mock ups of children in funny situations on parenting.failblog.

    What were you expecting exactly.

What is it you are worried about also? surely if the parent has done a proper job of educating and showing sufficient interest in a child of impressionable age, they 1) wouldnt be looking at this content, and 2) would understand it isnt real and if you live in a country where guns are easier to get hold of than beer, AND you are worried about your kids getting wrong impressions, you need to take a look at yourself and the greater community around you.

Great picture, and I hope our little boy who is due any moment grows up to be a triple hard bastard.

  15. TheresaBat says:

My first impulse was to go, “Honey! When we have kids, can we do this?! Best holiday card EVER!”
My husband, of course, proved once again that I married the right man, “Shopped! Because PIXELS! But yes, yes we can.”

  16. SparkleT. says:

Stupid kid needs to shoot the photographer too. Never leave a witness.

    • Team Trini Dai-Gurren says:

No… Leave one of them alive to tell the tale.

“Notify your next of kin, b*tches… My time-out’s OVER.”

  17. Jim says:

Looks like a young Sledge Hammer taking matters into his own hands.

  18. John says:

    Like a boss

  19. Actually, I think it’s one of those family portrait things. You know, the ones that have a special background, so it looks like your family is sitting before a fireplace or something? It looks like some sort of painted backdrop and someone just positioned the kid in front of it and put a gun in his hand. Probably trying to make a funny birthday invite or something.

  20. lok says:

The Transporter as a baby! epic!

  21. Clay Dowling says:

See, now I need to buy a smaller gun, so my grand-daughter can hold it for her pictures. Also, we’ll have to make some smaller firebombs so she can throw them effectively.

  22. canuck says:

Look Who’s Killing Now… a modern take on the classic movie Bugsy Malone.

  23. Rum Ham says:

    Pretty clever Skynet

  24. Pej says:

Look at the end that’s holding the gun: it’s shopped. And lighten the eff up, for pete’s sake. It’s just a picture.
