Mom: But you look nicer with short hair!
Me: You're the only one who says that. All my friends are telling me to grow it.
Mom: That's because your friends want you to be ugly.

about your hair. it is yours. and not your mom’s hair. do it as YOU want to have your hair.
take it from a person whose mom only allowed her to have the pageboy style till she was a teen. my mom grew up in a family where girls were only allowed to have a pageboy cut.nothing else.
Depends on hair colour, blond and brown look better long but black and red look better short. That’s my opinion, anyway. I suppose not everyone would agree with me.
Personally I think it’s wierd to be having such a discussion with one’s mother.
